pOn Thursday October 28th around 1730 hours Eng. Co. 1 Eng. Co. 4 and Medic 1nbspwere dispatched for a working house fire with a child trapped. Eng. Co. 1 responded within minutes of being toned out brigning Tanker 1 with a crew of 6. While responding to the scene Capt. 1 and Asst. Chief 1 marked on scene and advised that everyone was out of the structure at that time. Eng. Co. 4 was not far behind bringing Engine 4 Wagon 4 and Tanker 4. Tanker 1s crew pulled a line into the structure to try and fight off the fire that had mostly engulfed the structure. Their work was cut short after a large portion of the roof collapsed in with crews still operating inside of the structure. Crews backed out and no one was injured during the roof collapse.nbsp With the location of the call being in a non-hydrant area command requested a Tanker from Eng. Co. 2 and from King George county. Once a secure water supply was established all operations became defensive. Crews from Eng. Co. 1 Eng. Co. 4 Eng. Co. 2 and King George Eng. Co. 2 operated on the scene for about 4 hours performing salvage and overhaul duties and knocking down what little hot spots that remained. All units were placed back in service after operations were comlpeted and packed up. Thanks to all companies who responded and helped with this incident.p
